The Massachusetts Latino Chamber of Commerce is currently offering an exciting internship opportunity to eligible undergraduate and graduate students. Internships will be offered year-round on both a full and part-time basis in this office. All internships will be offered on an unpaid basis unless otherwise indicated.
Interns will gain valuable work experience while completing a variety of projects, including: conducting research on economic development opportunities for the poor, Latino business community needs and achievements, business technology needs; assisting in preparing the MLCC membership service package; monitoring the progress of legislative proposals; assisting in grant writing and grant research; and providing support to MLCC administration staff.
The purpose of this program is to allow students to work with MLCC staff to design a program that will not only meet their individual needs, but will also assist the agency in achieving its program and project goals. We will work closely with students educational institutions to ensure that each student receives appropriate academic credit for their internships.
